Packed schedule on Saturday

Thought I’d have had an easy weekend, but actually the sechedule was still quite packed by trivia.

Here was the timetable of my May 3.

0830 : woke up, personal cleaning, watering flowers, doing exercises

0910 : practicing religious ceremony

0950 : showering, eating fruit and breakfast, washing dishclothes

1020 :writing blog and updating Sina blog, choosing WSI reading group article for next week, listening new CDs for preparing radio program

1200 : going to the clinic nearby and taking physiotherapy of my finger the second time

1300 : finishing writing the monthly column article for “Self” magazine in China

1330 : having launch at home, an engineer coming to fix the computer and wireless system

1400-1930 : going to the TV station to prerecord the program “Super Idol”

2000 : having dinner

2100-2200 : editing the photos, throwing the trash, taking off the cosmetics and showering

2200 : watching TV program “Super Idol”, engineer coming again to check the computer problem

2400-0100 : making several calls to friends, listening music for recommanding the tracks to players of “Super Idol”

0130 : finishing this English text

  1. 我記得以前的英文老師說itinerary是指跟旅行有關的安排 這邊的用法不太確定是否妥適….
    如果用diary 好像又怪怪的….
    請高手們不吝賜教 謝謝

  2. 用英文做 行程表 是一件讓人佩服的用心和用功的行為
    陳先生的文法沒甚麼大問題
    但看上去總覺得 awkward
    因為我們都用中文式 思考 所以表達出的英文 常會有很多 贅詞
    不能像老美 簡潔的 hit the point
    譬如說 2000 : having dinner
    這事情還沒發生 having dinner 是指吃晚餐這件事 或是 正在吃 ?
    不如就直接 說 8 pm : have dinner with somebody..
    10 pm : watch ‘American Idol’.. .
    一直用動名詞 watching TV or eating fruits 文法沒錯 但好像沒人這樣用
    我不是英文老師 以前在台灣英文也很爛
    只是在美國十幾年 跟美國同事溝通的過程中 感覺到自己或是台灣來的人 在英文用法的一些盲點的小心得
