一篇講如何和老闆、上司相處的文章,結果立論並不新穎,那就是你得去了解適應他(她)。但在了解對方之前,卻有值得先了解工作、辨明任務的必要。

assessment: an appraisal or evaluation

wired: very excited, overstimulated

finesse: A technique which allows one to promote tricks

counsel: advice, consultation

decide how much time, energy and skills to devote to that assignment

subordinates have to adjust to their managers

you can familiarize him with a few achievement of which you are particularly proud

get rid of unrealistic illusions
